HOW TO COOK:
Mexican Adobo Brisket Recipe: Select 4lb of non-lean meat (e.g. beef blade, brisket, pork shoulder, skin-on chicken) and combine with a 500 ml jar of Mexican Adobo sauce. See below for cooking methods. After cooking, shred or slice the meat and return it to the sauce.
Slow Cooker Method: Add ingredients and cook on low according to the manufacture's instructions until the meat is tender (approx. 9 hrs for large peaces of red meat, about 7 hrs for chicken pieces).
Oven Method: Preheat oven to 350F. Add ingredients at a average heavy-bottomed , oven-safe pot or Dutch oven. Cover the pot tightly aluminum foil and place the lid on top. Cook until the meat is tender, approx. 5-6 hrs for large peaces of red meat and 2-3 hrs for chicken pieces.
HEAT LEVEL: SLOW BURNING HOT.
