OKAZU is an umami-rich chili, miso, and sesame oil based condiment often eaten with rice in Japan, which can also be used to top chicken, burgers, fish, eggs, potatoes, and more. Use it as a marinade or as an ingredient in your own homemade salad dressing, this condiment is versatile and we encourage you to experiment.
NGREDIENTS: SUNFLOWER OIL, SESAME OIL, Garlic, MISO PASTE (ORGANIC SOYBEANS, RICE, SALT), TAMARI SOY SAUCE (NON-GMO SOYBEANS, SALT, SUGAR), SUGAR, CHILI POWDER, WHITE SESAME SEEDS
*We are in the process of changing our soy sauce to tamari soy sauce. All okazu ordered online will be new ingredients. Some retailers may still have older stock.

*Miso soup(not OKAZU) is needed to be refrigerated after arrival.
Abokichi Instant miso soup is vegan, Non GMO and made with Gluten free ingredients. The only fermented drink served warm in the market.
DIRECTIONS: Single Serving: Add 2 Tbsp of Miso Soup paste to 250ml of
hot water in a thermos with lid and shake. Alternatively, mix with a spoon in
mug. Pot of Soup: In a saucepan, boilentire contents of packet with 1L of water. Add other ingredients such as vegetables, tofu and fish.
