Ingredients

  • 1 kg skinless chicken breast, cut into bite size pieces
  • 2 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 L oil for frying (canola, olive, etc)

Sauces:

  • 3 Tbsp OKAZU Sanshō Pepper
  • 1 Tbsp Thai fish sauce
  • 2 Tbsp red onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 Tbsp lemon or lime juice
  • 1 Tbsp Thai basil, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp cilantro, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp fresh mint, chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste

 

Directions:

  1. Season the chicken breast chunks with salt and pepper, and let it sit for 10-15 mins in the fridge, on a covered container.

  3. Heat up the frying oil on a deep pan or pot, to 175℃-180℃.
  4. Take the chicken chunks out of the fridge and dredge in flour.
