ABO Miso Mushroom Pasta

  • 1 package of spaghetti (cooked according to directions)
  • 3 Tbsp cooking oil
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1 cup fresh shiitake mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup shimeji mushrooms
  • 1 cup king oyster mushrooms, sliced into bite size pieces
  • 1-2 large cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp ABO Miso Soup - Original
  • ¼ cup, pasta water
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • salt and pepper to taste

Garnish with:

  • chopped parsley
  • grated Parmesan cheese


  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. In a deep pan, heat up oil and add butter.
  3. Add all the mushrooms and sautè until seared and lightly golden brown.
  4. Add the garlic and continue sautèeing or tossing to prevent  the garlic from overcooking.
  5. Add ABO Miso Soup Original paste and roast for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Add the pasta water to make a little stock.
  7. Add the cream and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Add the cooked pasta and toss to incorporate all the ingredients well.
  9. Garnish with parsley, black pepper and parmesan cheese.
